Bilateral Research Fund
The Bilateral Research Fund (BRF) was set up in 2020 to support the establishment and development of research links between universities and research institutes in the UK and Portugal.
About this initiative
The BRF programme aims to contribute to scientific diplomacy in the bilateral relations between Portugal and the United Kingdom, on a research, innovation, development and scientific culture levels.
This initiative seeks to encourage the establishment of new partnerships that may boost the collaboration between Portuguese and British research institutions, thus facilitating the transfer of knowledge on advances in science and technology between both countries.
If you are an early career researcher and a member of PARSUK based in a research institution in Portugal or in the UK, you can apply for the grants we have available! Just make sure to include in your application at least one Co-Investigator based in the partner country.
